Armorblox Wins Award at The Omnis for Setting New Remote Work Standards

Remote work is here to stay and many companies around the world are still struggling to find the best ways to strike the right balance for employee wellbeing and benefits. Armorblox from Sunnyvale, however, has just been awarded an award from The Omnis' for their outstanding work in bringing their teams together as a remote work hero.

Armorblox beat out dozens of applicants from around the world for The Omnis’ first awards program, hosted by Omnipresent, that celebrates global teams that have adapted to a new normal of working remotely. Judges included Wayne Turmel from Remote Leadership Institute; Gren Gale from PM Results; Cynthia Trivella from TalentCulture; Daniella Guzman from Mercer; Matthew Liptak from Scipher Medicine; Kaleem Clarkson of Blend Me Inc.; Chris Dyer from PeopleG2; and Maya Middlemiss of Healthy Happy Homeworking.

To help Armorblox continue to grow their business, The Omnis and their partners are awarding them with:  US$10,000 to spend on Omnipresent services to hire anyone internationally, US$10,000 towards remote health from SafetyWing, 250 branded Ben Cards used for rewards and incentives, £1500 worth of credits from Learnerbly and 1-year Twist courtesy of Doist. Other finalists in the Outstanding Wellbeing & Benefits award category included US-based startups Maze and uMed, who also showed incredible innovation in wellbeing and benefits for their globally remote teams.

Other category winners of The Omnis announced to date include BrainSightAI for Outstanding Asynchronous & Hybrid Work, Willow Innovations for Outstanding Culture & Communication, Nexthink for Outstanding Learning & Development and Redeemeum for Outstanding Recruitment & Talent Acquisition.

Feedback From The Judges

During The Omnis event, emcee and health and wellness coach, Tayyaba Jordan, stated that: “This was a highly contested category, with a number of really strong submissions that went into a great deal of detail about how their well-being strategies had impacted their remote workforce. The judges were also pleased with the creativity that companies have been putting into their benefits packages to support their distributed teams in the best possible way.”

Armorblox won the category because they had “gone an extra mile to support their employees, from both a mental and physical health point of view. From morning yoga and mental health programs to partnering with leading tech companies, this company is seeing the benefit of ensuring their employees stay healthy and happy.”

The Omnis Event Series

“The Omnis has been a great way to showcase exciting examples of how companies are creating new standards in remote work,” said Lind Wang, Head of Marketing at Omnipresent. “The event series celebrates the winners but also allows for bigger conversations to develop around trends, disruptions, and new opportunities for leaders around the world. We’re so proud to have been able to create this platform for this type of conversation to help so many learn and develop their own skills relevant to today’s work environment.”

The Omnis last event in the series will take place Thursday, December 16 at 4pm GMT to announce the winner of the Outstanding Reward & Recognition award category.  Registration for the interactive, online event is free and now open at omnipresent.com/theomnis.
